Bukit Angkasa is connect to the rest of Kuala Lumpur with the New Pantai Expressway (NPE, E10) at Bangsar’s Jalan Bangsar, and as far into Petaling Jaya as Subang Jaya’s Persiaran Tujuan. The Federal Highway (Federal Route 2) is used to connect Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, opening up the option of working either in Petaling Jaya or Kuala Lumpur. For a break from the familiar surroundings of Bukit Angkasa, families and their children can visit many of the big parks and lakes nearby for cycling, jogging such as Taman Jaya Park, Lake Garden, and Perdana Botanical Garden. The ever-popular supermarkets include several Giant, Tesco and Mydin stores. Residents can also visit the wet markets at PJ Old Town, Old Klang Road, and Pasar Malam Pantai Dalam, Pasar Malam Bukit Kerinchi for fresh marketing items. There are plenty of ethnic food places around Bukit Angkasa, such as Japanese food at Eatomo Food Co., Giant Bowl Vegetarian Restaurant, Parklife Restaurant (health food), Eye’s Steak Pantai Dalam, Nasi Ayam Goreng Kunyit, and Portofino Italian Restaurant. For economical food there are many small stores nearby such as the Gerai Makan India, and Warung Rindu Nasi Lemak. Malls nearby offer more options and varieties include The Sphere and Miniso, KL Gateway Mall, and Amcorp Mall, and Mid Valley Megamall. The children of Taman Bukit Angkasa have at least 16 kindergartens in the vicinity, including the Tadika Nilam Pantai Hillpark. Nearby national schools are the SMK Taman Desa and Catholic High School PJ. Supplementary learning centers are also available, such as Smart Reader Kids. For higher education, the nearest universities include University Malaysia, MAHSA Avenue International College, Management and Science University, and INCEIF (International Center for Education in Education in Islamic Finance). Job opportunities should be plenty, with Bukit Angkasa being surrounded by many bustling business and small industries, such as Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, Taman Perindustrian OUG, Scott Garden, Bangsar, Brickfields, and Lucky Garden. With the closeness of the train stations to Bukit Angkasa, there are many economical options of where to work for residents of Bukit Angkasa. Residential properties in Bukit Angkasa are leasehold. With the flats in Bukit Angkasa being relatively lower priced residential property, it comes as no surprise that their prices are starting from a median of MYR 305 psf and median price of MYR 210,000.
