We bought a mid-floor 3-bed unit recently. The developer’s reputation and quality of finish were major deciding factors. The built up is comfortable, good ceiling height and layout. Given the location, schools, facilities, it attracts good interest when renting. The leasehold factor is something we considered carefully, but for medium term (5-10 years) horizon, we believe capital appreciation is realistic here.

Working professional / tenant
I rent a 3-bed unit here; it’s fully furnished and the view is decent. For getting to work it’s not bad — easy access to major roads, traffic is manageable. Gym, sauna and security are solid. If I had to nitpick: on certain days the lifts get busy, and noise from the road side can be noticeable in some units. Still, for the price vs what you get, it's pretty good value.

Young family mum/dad
We moved into D’Tasek Residences last year for our toddler. The playground and nursery on site are lifesavers, plus having a pool & wading pool means weekends are a lot more fun. The kids' schools are close by, and things like grocery shopping are so easy with the mini-mart in the building and malls just a short drive. The maintenance fee is a bit steep, but we feel the amenities justify it. Only wish: more parking for visitors.
