Empire Damansara had big promise: live, work, dine in one place. In practice, some parts excel (amenities, integrated offerings), others lag (shop closures, lift problems, inconsistent upkeep). I always advise people to inspect multiple units — two units in same block may feel entirely different. If management stays sharp, it’ll age well; if not, the weaker units will suffer.

Good for Short Stay / Rental Use
We use our unit for guest stays sometimes. The guest reviews are mostly positive — clean, location okay, amenities work. But one guest actually complained about waiting forever for a lift. So when I manage bookings, I factor in potential issues and always have backup communication ready. Also, better units (higher floors, good orientation) rent faster.

Affordable Entry in Damansara
I moved into a 700-sf SOHO unit in Empire SOHO 2 in 2018. The pricing was much lower than typical condos in Damansara yet you get pool, gym, security. But there are days when the lift breaks down, and walking out in the evening, many shops are already closed. It’s decent value, but not premium.
