As an investor I evaluated Scott @ Logan because its freehold status, central location and service-residence concept give upside. The listing PSF is around ~RM 1,243 and built-up from 338 sq ft upward. But I’m realistic: the project isn’t completed yet (2028 target) so there is execution risk, precinct activation risk, and you’ll need to hold 5-10 years rather than flip in 1-2. Also, for serviced residence style units, management, occupancy rates, service charge levels will be key to rental yield and resale success. If you pick poorly (low floor, poor view) the results may lag.

Modern Serviced Residence With Urban Edge
I liked Scott @ Logan because it blends a heritage-refurbished building with a new 36-storey tower, offering modern serviced residence style in George Town’s city core. The proposed built-ups ranged from ~338 to ~902 sq ft—so options for singles, couples or small families. The trade-off: since many units will be small, and given location on Jalan Logan (a busy area), noise, view-quality and orientation will matter a lot. I’d aim for a higher floor, non-road-facing unit and inspect the tower’s finishing schedule and management plan before fully committing.

Freehold Studio Entry in George Town
I booked a studio unit (~338 sq ft) in Scott @ Logan because the freehold tenure and inner-George Town location were very attractive. The idea of living near the heritage core, close to hospitals, schools and city amenities appealed. But it’s still under construction (completion slated for 2028) so I’m buying on faith: the actual build, view, management and precinct activation are still “to come”. If you’re patient, it could be a strong entry; if you need immediate occupancy or know exactly what you’re getting now, you’ll have to accept some uncertainty.
