Empire City’s SOHO is one of the more affordable walks into Damansara / PJ zones. If you pick a mid-high floor, with good orientation, and keep tabs on facility upkeep, it has upside. But units with poor view, low floor, or exposure to noise will be harder to justify long term.

Good for Entry into Damansara Area
We bought a SOHO unit expecting a foot-in strategy: proximity to amenities, manageable size, lower price. It delivers some of that. But not everything is perfect. Parking is leased, and when you’re on a “bad side” unit (less view, facing internal service road), you definitely feel the value hit. The developer / management must stay sharp for this to age well.

Compact, Convenient & Cost-Smart — But Be
I rented a small SOHO unit in Empire City for a while. It’s a decent balance: good location, mixed-use precinct, and for its size the layout was workable. But I found myself complaining about lift delays, dim hallways, and occasional issues with leaks or common area upkeep. For the price, it’s not amazing — but tolerable if expectations are realistic.
