Great retail and F&B just downstairs
I moved to Southbay Plaza for the integrated commercial concept and it's been brilliant for convenience. Everything from groceries to dining is right downstairs. The residential component is decent — comfortable, well-maintained, and reasonably quiet despite the commercial activity. The plaza is growing in terms of tenant mix and it keeps improving. A very practical lifestyle choice.

Convenient mixed-use gem in Batu Kawan
Southbay Plaza is very cleverly positioned — the integrated commercial and residential setup means I rarely need to go far for anything. Shops, F&B, and services are downstairs. The residential unit I have is comfortable and well-finished. The whole Southbay ecosystem is maturing nicely. Second Penang bridge makes Penang island accessible and the Batu Kawan industrial zone is nearby for those working there.
