Spent a weekend at my friend's place in Tropez and it felt like a mini vacation. The Danga Bay waterfront setting is lovely—breezy, scenic, and relaxing. The pool area is generous and well-maintained. Facilities are solid overall. The area is a bit sleepy in terms of immediate dining options but there are decent spots nearby. For a laid-back JB lifestyle with waterfront access, Tropez really delivers the goods.

Beautiful sea views, resort-style condo
Living at Tropez Residences in Danga Bay has been a great experience. The waterfront setting is genuinely beautiful—evening walks along the promenade, sea breeze, and a calmer pace of life compared to KL. The condo facilities are resort-style and well-kept. It's not the most central location for JB daily errands but Sutera Mall and other amenities are accessible. For anyone working in Singapore or wanting a JB lifestyle upgrade, this is a lovely choice.

Waterfront living in Danga Bay, JB
I own a unit at Tropez Residences in Danga Bay and the waterfront views are the real draw. Waking up to a sea view in JB is something special. The development has solid facilities and is well-maintained. Being in Danga Bay means proximity to Singapore via the CIQ is manageable, and the area has been developing with new malls and F&B spots. Good for investors targeting Singapore workers living in JB.

Nice
Not bad, secure security system, but too annoying for a friend visit... some of the facility seems not really finished, but it is quite good already.

Houses not ready to live in condition
I bought a unit at Tropex Residences. To my surprises, the handover conditions was a nightmare to me.
I am from sector of property in Singapore, I just doubt that Malaysia Property are in such a poor standard and unbearable
situation although they being developed so called reputable Developers such as Tropicana.
Yes, I agree the value is cheaper than property in Singapore. But when you take over the unit, we feel that we are buying a Malaysia brand Proton Car instead of Toyata. There are a lot of Defective works within the units where make the buyer / tenants under unlivable condition. Singaporean, please be alert and being understand to invest a property in Malaysia,
If you are expecting something like Singapore Private Condominium, I don't thing there there are good developer in Malaysia at present status. Cheap but you will get some houses worst than HDB standard.
Anybody interested to know more info, can mail to me. Tks
