Posted on 07 October 2011

Real estate agents can now enjoy mobility in updating listings and much more!

Kuala Lumpur, 7 October, 2011 - HomeGuru.com.my, Malaysia's property expert, today announced the launch of Malaysia's first AgentNet app for iPhones and iPads dedicated to providing convenience and connectivity for property agents on the go.

Available for free in Apple's app store, HomeGuru's AgentNet app has been designed for real estate agents with a HomeGuru account that allows them to advertise their listings, respond to enquiries from their clients and update existing listings via their iPhone and/or iPad while they're on the move.

Additionally, iPad users are offered the ease of editing their profile details, accessing HomeGuru's Property Wanted section for potential leads as well as the freedom to browse through and provide responses on HomeGuru's Ask Guru forum.

Steven Tan, Country Manager of HomeGuru, said, "We understand the needs of real estate agents to constantly be on the move, thus developing this AgentNet app serves our dedication in providing agents with perennial access to the HomeGuru database for them to easily keep up to date with real-time listings even as they are out meeting clients or managing property viewings."

The first mobile app in Malaysia to be developed exclusively for real estate agents, the HomeGuru AgentNet app is simple to use and comes with a comprehensive step-by-step guide. Not only does the AgentNet app allow agents to upload their listings as soon as the property seller provides approval, there is an added feature for agents to take photographs via their iPhone or iPad camera to be uploaded immediately to the database on www.HomeGuru.com.my.

As a part of the PropertyGuru Group network, the launch of HomeGuru's AgentNet app in Malaysia for iPhone/iPad is among the group's initiatives in technological innovations as well as an extension of PropertyGuru's provision of its AgentNet app for Singapore last August, which has since received the SiTF Merit Award 2011 for Mobile Application.

Group CEO of PropertyGuru Group, Steve Melhuish said, "The launch of HomeGuru's own AgentNet app for iPhone/iPad is part of our on-going efforts in creating tools for real estate agents registered with us, be it in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand or Indonesia, to have the convenience of accessing our database no matter where they are."
