SINGAPORE, 3 December 2013 - Asia’s leading online property site, PropertyGuru has clinched the gold award for Best Online Service at the OPP Awards for Excellence in London, making the portal the only property site to win the award for three consecutive years.
Judged by independent industry leaders from across the globe, the OPP Awards recognises the best property developers, real estate agents and associated companies in 34 award categories.
For the third time, PropertyGuru Group has received an OPP award in the Best Online Service category where it has previously won silver and bronze in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
“The achievement is also a testament to the group’s regional brand strength and popularity, being the only Asian property portal to secure a victory at the internationally recognised awards show,” the company said in a statement.
PropertyGuru attributed the win to its continued focus on the development as well as improvement of AgentNet, an online platform that allows agents to easily market their properties in real-time.
According to Sarah Baker, Head of Products for PropertyGuru, product development and management were the main drivers for the company’s success.
“In a digital age where the customer always comes first, it is important to take into account the users’ experience to make sure we more than satisfy their requirements,” she said.
“Our challenge is to ensure that we continuously innovate products and services to meet the changing needs of our agent subscribers,” she added.
Also commenting on the achievement is Steve Melhuish, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer atPropertyGuru Group, who said it was encouraging to know that the company has again managed to secure another milestone in its short history.
“Customer service is integral to PropertyGuru and as our brand continues to grow, it is important that we consistently foster and build the service-excellence oriented culture we have to provide the best quality online products services in the market,” he said.
Notably, PropertyGuru has also won bronze in the Best Media category at the same event.
