Bandar Puteri Bangi is a fairly new township which was announced by IOI Properties in mid-2014. The project is being undertaken by Knowledge Vision, a subsidiary of IOI Properties group. Located strategically between a few developed townships such as Kajang, Semenyih, Nilai, Bangi, Bandar Puteri Bangi belongs to the district of Kajang bearing postcode 43000.

The area surrounding the town is encircled by palm oil estates, most of which were converted to townships over the last 20 years. Bandar Puteri Bangi is one of the Bandar Puteri series of IOI Properties, with another sibling situated in Bandar Puteri Puchong.

In terms of connectivity, Bandar Puteri Bangi is well connected to a number of major routes. If you are travelling from Kuala Lumpur, one of the available routes is through the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway. Travellers will exit through exit 213 Putra Mahkota to arrive at the destination. Travellers south-bound from Johor or Melaka will also be utilizing the E37 Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway. The township is located approximately 50km from Kuala Lumpur and takes around 30 minutes to arrive at.

Due to the township being in its infancy stage, you will notice that most of the developments are still on-going and the atmosphere is rather quiet. Apart from a few rows of commercial shop-lots, there isn’t much going on in Bandar Puteri Bangi. However, this does not pose a challenge to residents as the opposite township of Bandar Seri Putra and Bukit Mahkota, which is a stone’s throw away, provides a variety of amenities and necessities.

It is worthy to note that there are limited food options in the vicinity at the moment, and that residents may need to travel to the nearby township of Nilai or Seremban for more food options. This may however change when the township is fully up and running.

With a GDV of RM4 billion and an estimated 8 years to complete, Bandar Puteri Bangi will harbour a wealth of entertainment hubs to entertain its residents. One of its more significant developments will be the California Street, where children and teenagers can skate or cycle up and down the vibrant streets. Summary

Apartment Putra 1 is another prestigious development by Bangi Heights Development Sdn. Bhd. located in Bandar Seri Putra, a township opposite Almyra Residences. With its completion date set to be somewhere around November 2017, both developments are of similar setting. The township of Bandar Seri Putra is more developed with more commercial shop-lots compared to Bandar Puteri Bangi.

However this does not indicate that the former is better as the latter is still in its infancy stage. With upcoming developments such as Enigma and Kubika Square, Bandar Puteri Bangi is expected to boom into a flourishing township. One notable difference between the 2 developments lies in the number of units. With a difference of 164 units, it is a sizable difference in terms of density.

In terms of built-up, Apartment Putra 1 is slightly more spacious with the smallest unit standing at 1,040 sq ft. Another notable difference is the amount of maintenance fee that residents need to pay. Taking the 1,217 sq ft unit as a benchmark, residents get to save a total of RM61.15 per month.
