Project Details

One Maxim was officially launched in July 2016. This apartment building’s floor plan orientation is L-shaped to facilitate better views of the city centre of Kuala Lumpur.

One part of this L-shaped building is taller and stands at 38 storeys, whereas the other part is 31 storeys. The 38 storeys allow for 10 units per floor whereas the 31 storeys has 6 units on every floor.

Sentul was largely inhabited by a huge Indian population. These were the generations of Indians whose ancestors had worked for Sentul Works, a pre-independence railway company.

Until this day, Sentul is the only place near to the city centre (10.5 km in distance from KLCC) that is still keeping pace in its developments with the rest of its closest neighbour Setapak.

Setapak is experiencing a major facelift over recent years, in terms of infrastructure as well as property development. Most city-dwellers who frequent this mature neighbourhood, which was once connected to the city of Kuala Lumpur and the rest of Klang Valley through a major trunk road that begins at the Jalan Pahang roundabout right up to Jalan Genting Kelang, will notice high-rise residential and commercial developments being built especially along this busy stretch of road in which traffic moves at a frenetic pace every day.

The towering residences were introduced by YTL Corporation. Due to their captivating architecture and great height, these two futuristic skycrapers have somehow transformed and revived the landscape of Sentul.

The pioneering spirit of YTL to revitalize Sentul has set the stage for other developers to do the same. What is taking place now is that a handful of high-rise residential properties are taking shape along both sides of Jalan Sentul – from Sky Awani Residence to One Maxim and Sentul Point.

In addition to the KTM Commuter Stations at Kampung Batu, Sentul and Batu Kontenmen, there is also an existing LRT line that connects Sentul to the monorail and upcoming MRT Line 2 (Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line).

Jalan Sentul Pasar is connected to Duta-Ulu Kelang (DUKE) Expressway {E33}. According to www.duke.com.my, DUKE Phase 2 is made up of two links – Sri Damansara link, which connects MRR2 and DUKE, and Tun Razak link, which connects DUKE and MRR1, thereby easing traffic flow in the usually-congested Jalan Tun Razak.

This phase 2 extension has been slated to be completed by end of 2016.
