V’ Residence showcases two 26-floor blocks or towers of 268 units built over a 4-acre parcel along a new section around Jalan Pulau Meranti bearing a Puchong address and postcode. Let’s get to the Rooms now with a Tour of the Master Bedroom to the Master Bath to the 2nd Bedroom to the “hidden” room inside the Dining Room.
Having seen the Show Unit, it must be mentioned that there will always be a design challenge when locating the unit entrance at the centre of a square unit. Unless ingenuity is used, the unit is effectively split into half, presenting quite a design quandary as to which half one should place the Living Room, the Dining Room, the Kitchen, and all the Bedrooms and Bathrooms. Choice of placement could create many unnecessary crossroads for the occupant to get from one section to the other.
Ideally, bedrooms and bathrooms, being the personal sanctum of the home, should be tucked in areas where there is privacy, away from more “public” areas such as the living and dining hall and main entrance. Ideally too, when one opens the front door, one should be greeted by the welcoming sight of the Living Room or Dining Room. But in the design of the Type B1 unit, this is what you will see when you open the front door.
The above Floor Layout is for Type A and Type B only. If there are no issues about having to walk across the hall to use the bathroom, then this design will work for a lot of people. After all, aesthetics is subjective although practicality is quite another. However, Type C and the Duplexes have bathrooms and bedrooms located at more discreet places.
