The development is very close to Chong Hwa Independent High School, about 450m away. Other nearby amenities include Sentul Medical Centre, Sentul Timur LRT station, and many schools (SK Sentul 2, Chi Man Chinese Primary School, and Convent Sentul Secondary School, among others).

Despite being branded as Vista, this development is not part of Platinum Victory’s Vista Essential Homes category. The developer explained that the use of Vista branding is due to the selling price of most units in Vista Sentul is as affordable and competitive as those in the Vista Essential Homes category.

The Vista Essential Homes is tied to affordable housing schemes such as Residensi Wilaya (RUMAWIP) or Rumah Selangorku, which impose certain requirements (income bracket, first-time homebuyers only, and more).

Vista Sentul Residences is not bound by these requirements, and it is considered as somewhat of an outlier in the Vista Essential Homes category.
