As per the HDA SPA terms, Purchaser is entitled to an adjustment of the purchase price if the area of the parcel shown in the strata title is less than the area shown in the building plan by more than 2% based on the agreed adjusment rate. Please advise how is this calculated with practical examples. (Note: i am confused in the case that area reduction say 3% (ie. 1% above 2% stipulation) purchaser will be reimbursed by developwer with 1% x adjustment rate or 3% of adjustment rate.)
