Can we get back the deposit?
Tenant A renting a house on March with one year tenancy agreement. Then, we as a subtenant renting two rooms start from June. Tenant A moving out after sublet to us. After few months, landlord found out tenant A not staying the house anymore, landlord asking us to evict the house and without refunding the deposit. We as a subtenant without signing any agreement with tenant A has the rights to ask the tenant A to refund the full deposit?
