Complaint against the Building Manager for his performance of duties.
Inter floor leakage from the upper unit
Could you please advise for the case below:
10.01.2020 The inter-floor leakage started – Complaint Form to Management Office
22.06.2020 Form 28 completed and supposedly submitted to COB as claimed by the Management Office.
21.10. 2021 I went to the COB and he confirmed he did not receive the Form 28.
He stamped my Form 28.
29.10.2021 Complaint letter to the Management Company. No action!
31.12.2021 Meeting with the MC Chairman. No action!
1. According to the Strata Management Regulation 2015
Act 61.2 …...managing company, shall immediately (7 days) take all the necessary steps to rectify the interflooring leak and shall charge all cost from the party responsible for the leaks.
2. According to the House Rules revised on 3 February 2018
Failure of the owner (7 days) to rectify will result in the management rectifying the said
problem and all cost to be charged to the parcel owner.
Can I take it up to the Tribunal regarding the above complaint?
