Dear Sirs,
I would like to enquire about the structure of Flat rate maintenance fee implemented on June 2015. Our condominium was built way back in late 1999 and yet to obtain strata title . According to our JMB, the title is in progress and should be out by end of this year or early next year.
Out of sudden, they proposed to increase the maintenance fee with the excuses of implementing flat rate according to the strata act 2013.
The main problem here is the bigger unit will have to fork out more than 100% increase.
Can you show us the calculation before and after the act?
For example
smaller units( 700-900 sq feet) is currently paying 200/month .They will be paying around 210 after increase.
bigger units ( 2700-3200 sq feet) is currently paying 270-320/month. They will be paying 560-660 after increase.
Can you please let us know the actual calculation of maintenance fee before and after the strata title act 2013.
