Hello,
I recently want to sell my house and has get a property agent to help me. She told me that if the buyer is interest of the house the buyer has to pay 2% of the house price as a booking fee for their property company. I am wondering is this process is correct ? Should the booking fee pay to the lawyer or pay to the agent company ? Should agent come out with a proper document for buyer to sign to proof of the payment for booking fee by buyer ?
** Please note the 2% i mention above is booking fee not agent fee.
