I'm Gary from Singapore. I'm interested in understanding the criteria for foreigners purchasing property in Malaysia, including details on taxes, agent fees, minimum amount required for foreigner property ownership, and bank loans available for foreigners.

I'm not particularly interested in condos that are still under construction, but I'm open to buildings that are nearing their completion (TOP).

Specifically, I'm interested in acquiring a condominium on Penang Island. Here are my preferences:

Condo Type: Looking for a less dense condominium
Floor Area: Minimum 1200 square feet or more
Bedrooms: 3 or 4 bedrooms with 2 to 3 toilets
Floor Level: High
View: Preferably sea or hill view
Tenure: Freehold
Budget: RM 1.5 million
I plan to visit Penang Island in mid or end April for a 5-day/4-night stay. It would be helpful if you could suggest hotels that are conveniently located for viewing the condos.
