Hello, my mom is 79 and living with my aunt. She has been paying maintenance fee to Guan Thye Leong Realty since she moved in to the apartment. The last 10 years, I have been hearing that the elevators are broken half the time. She lives on 8 floor and she has been told by the Realtor that because people are not paying their maintenance fee they cannot fix the elevators. The situation is getting worst and this time the elevators has been broken for 2 weeks. Recently, the paramedics had to climb 8 floors to get my aunt to the hospital. How do you expect her to climb 8 floors after surgery? My mom won't be able to climb the stairs because of her age. Can you help with advice what action can be taken against that company? At the end of the day, when a unit is sold the company will reclaim the outstanding maintenance fees.
