Needed the expertise to help with question regarding the exemption on stamp duty for SPA & Loan Agreement.
I have checked out the https://www.propertyguru.com.my/property-guides/what-is-stamp-duty-exemption-malaysia-11987, however I still need help with a specific situation below:
Buyer A (First home buyer) and Buyer B (non first home buyer) plans to purchase a sub-sale property valued at RM480,000 under joint name. Both SPA & Loan Agreement will be under joint name. In this scenario, will the exemption of stamp duty for property below RM500,000 still applicable? If yes, what will be the portion of the stamp duty exemption?
