Hi… i am a newbie to the malaysia real estate industry and thinking to buy my first unit. During the signing of SPA, the developer made it mandatory to for all purchaser to sign a CONSENT FOR AMENDMENT PROJECT APPROVED PLANS LETTER that stated to consent unconditionally on amendments towards schedule of parcel and building plans and etc without details of the expected amendments. i feel this is very odd that they are asking me to sign an open cheque letter where i dont feel comfortable and rejected to sign. However, they are pushing very hard for me to sign it but was unable to explain to my satisfaction why would a open consent letter of amendments are required. Does anyone has any idea what i can do ?
