Hi, I am sorry if this may not be totally relevant to ask over here in propertyguru malaysia. But i guess i can get the most experts here to answer my doubts. Current situation is that, myself a Singaporean, would like to buy a HDB in Singapore, but my girlfriend currently has a private property in Malaysia under her name and she is currently financing the Malaysian property. My question is, is it possible to change the named owner of the property from my girlfriend's name to her mum or brother, while she continues to be the one financing the property? An additional note is that her mum and brother is currently not working, will it affect anything? If yes, what are the estimated costs involved? Not sure if helpful, but her current property is MYR 650,000.
