Hi. I bought a condo when I'm still holding Malaysia citizenship status 7 years ago. The was property bought under my husband name (1st owner - Msian) and myself (2nd). We now need to do the Strata Title transfer but now I'm already converted my citizenship as Singaporean.
1. Lawyer advise I need to do the State Authority Consent application to get my status change to Singaporean, however the levy will be imposed but lawyer will help to appeal (no intention to sell, it's for own stay). May I know if there ever have any successful appeal on case like me?
2. If I get the State Authority Consent approved, can I take my name out from the property and leave only my husband name become sole owner of the property?
