I moved out of my rental unit in tropicana gardens - Arnica residence in december 2019. The landlord is refusing to return my utlitilies deposit and I wish to proceed with this matter legally. The tenancy agreement, managed by sheakay real estate, only shows the landlord's name and passport number but no other information. Upon requesting for more information of the landlord from the agency, they are insisting that is all the information they have. Is it legal in Malaysia for a property company to list properties in property guru without collecting full information of the property and the landlord? How do I proceed to get more information on the landlord?
