Hi Sean. I bought a 3+1 bedrooms unit of a 15 year-old mid-end condominium in Bandar Puchong Jaya from subsales market at RM550k few years ago. I've always been renting it at RM1700 per month. My current tenant is moving out in January/February next year. I noticed that the current rental value of the units at the condo has been dropping drastically over the past two years and most probably it'll be very difficult for me to rent out at the same/higher rate. I'm wondering if refurbishing the unit (thinking of looking for The Makeover Guys) can help in fetching a better rental rate. Also, due to the uncertainty of whether the market price of such an old condominium can go higher in the future, shall I continue to hold on it and sell it few years later or probably it's a better move to sell it soon at a minimum profit? Thank you so much.
