Good day.
I plan to purchase a property which claim to be bumi release lot by the developer. I have done some homework, and gone through some comments regarding the issues of purchasing a bumi lot by a non-bumi. Herewith, I wish to seek the advise regarding my case. Appreciate if I anyone can enlighten me.
FYI, the property I plan to purchase is a Studio Unit (>RM300,000) located in Selangor state. The construction has been completed and there are owners that already moved in. It is a leasehold property but the strata title are not yet issued.
According to the developer, they have some bumi lot (if not mistaken is bumi quota) yet been sold out. After meeting the requirement set by the authority, they are now allowed to release the bumi lot to non-bumi. My concern are as the following:-
1) Is the release bumi lot can be purchased by non-bumi?
2) How do I confirm if the developer already granted approval from authority to release the bumi lot to non-bumi?
3) How to confirm the unit I'm going to purchase is approved by authority to release to non-bumi purchaser?
4) Since strata title is yet done. Will I be facing any problem when I carry out the strata title transfer in future?
