I am renting in a terrace house for the past 6 years. The landlord says he sent termination notice which i did not receive. The person who sent the notice just placed the notice on my car and left! My rental outstanding is only rm200. The landlord paid my electricity outstanding fees and deduct from my utilities deposit. But also ordered tnb to close the electricity account! So tnb staff have disconnected electricity supply! In order to reconnect supply,i must produce supply permission letter from my landlord. What should i do if the landlord doesn't want to produce the supply permission letter? Since i did not receive notice of termination and the landlord forfeited my deposit,i cant pay deposit to a different landlord. What can i do to get my deposit from the landlord? After 2 years from 2018,there was no agreement made but rental was paid without fail. There was late payment not by months due to covid. Rental payment was late by 2 to 3 weeks. Agreement is between my brother and the landlord. In february he was asked to renew the agreement but my brother didnt renew but lied to me that the rental agreement is renewed! I need help in this situation
