I recently found a landed house direct from owner. I paid 3% booking fee to block the house and applied loan. Within 3 working day my bank loan got approved & signed, But Seller (owner) changed mind and don't want to sell the property.

Question:
1) Can I sue the seller for any cost?
2) Can I somehow retain the property as I
fixed my mind to own it.

Hi. Sorry to hear that. First thing first, you need to refer to the signed booking form between you and the seller on cancellation clause. Because of dealing with direct owner, I believe you engaged with lawyer to make the deal. No further action can be taken if there is no written/black and white proof. Hope this helps. Thanks.
