I rented a piece of land 20'x60' from a land owner and build a 2 storey wooden shop house for 60+ years. In 2016, the land owner sold the land to a new buyer. All along, i paid the cukai pintu to Majlis perbandaran, and the assessment value as stated on the form was 50,000. My question was :
1. Who legally owned the house?
2.in the sale transaction, Did the ex land owner sell my house? And Did the new owner buy up my house?
3. What happen to my house? Do I have the right to demand payment for my house? Who is liable to pay back my house?
