iI have joint with my sister in law and signed the S&P and notis taksiran also out today. My bank called me up they are unable to proceed the loan documentation due to my sister in law is not my sibling. They requested me to cancel my name in the S&P but my lawyer said we need to re-do the S&P again together with Recession Agreement and this will incur extra charges. But the bank lawyer is saying no need to re-do S&P just need to strike out my name and give a consent letter to cancel my name and inform LHDN.
