It is quite common for foreigners and non-bumi to buy bumi-released apartments and houses in Malaysia. Some say after its bumi-released, owner can sell to non-bumi or foreigners in the future. There is no need to apply for bumi-release again with Land office (government).
Some say after its bumi-released, owner still needs to apply to Land Office (government) when they wish to sell to foreigners or non-bumi in the future. Could I check which is the most updated legal advice ?
Is the first application to Land office for bumi-release a permanent release or just for that transaction ?
thank you.
