Me and my wife are looking at buying a condo in the KL area (Bangsar, Mont Kiara, KLCC) for investment / rental. We are Singaporeans, profs currently in the Middle East. Can please clear the foll: 1) Min entry price for Condos? I heard that min ceiling has been raised to RM 1million. We are looking for properties as close as possible to this minimum ceiling or lower. 2) Do different projects qualify for any exemptions from this minimum ceiling? Eg I heard that Medini projects are exempt from this RM 1 million cut off are there any similar projects in the KL / Selangor area? 3) What is the max loan amts that can be availed currently? 4) What are the home loan interest rates we are looking at? Processing fees? 5) How long we need to own to qualify for exemption from capital gains tax on subsequent sale? 6) What are the other hidden costs eg stamp duty etc applicable? 7) What are the freebies that we can expect eg: partial furnishings
