My condo uses a prepaid meter. We are able to just top up at the management when the credit is low when it beeps. However lately, the management requires the reading from the meter. The meter screen is faulty due to old age and no reading appears on the screen.
Can I know if it's normal to ask for the reading for a prepaid meter? Also if the management insist I change the prepaid meter, who should bear the cost as I do not deal with tnb for this case. Also if it's possible to request a direct connection from tnb instead of going through the management whom charge a premium?
