my ex boyfriend has dragged me on with a joint name property for over 10 years now. i know i entitle 50% of the property and i want to do things that will threat him and make him understand that his dragging action is causing other pain. i have no choice but take this desperate step. what can i do legally with my 50% share of property? can i lock up the house? can i rent the 50% out? he cant call the police on me if i do so, right? im sorry to ask such stupid question, but i really have no way out. pls help, thanks.
