My husband and I are looking for a suitable property to buy in Melaka for retirement purpose. As we will not be retiring for another 15 years, we are hoping to do the place up and perhaps rent it as a holiday rental. We are however not from Melaka and have not been there for years. Would appreciate if you could suggest good locations that we should consider. We are looking at a place that have a good mixture of Malaysians of various races and perhaps expats, not far from amenities and town but away from school as our child will be at college then. We like the A Famosa resort but it seems the place don't get good review from holidaymakers. We are planning a short trip end of this year. It would be nice to at least know which areas we should focus on. Thanks.
