My wife and her brother purchase a property many years ago. The property name is under her brother and the borrower is under both of them. My questions is what is the risk of this situation? e.g. if her brother put the house in mortgage? or cannot pay up the loan monthly payment? How is that affecting my wife? Can we change the borrower from my wife to her brother?
