[Query raised by Landlord / Tenant]: May I know what is the agent duties after tenancy agreement signed? Is the agent responsible in handling communication from owner to tenant and vice versa, ensuring T&C of the signed Tenancy Agreement fulfilled? [Answered given by Property Agent Company]: After signing Tenancy agreement , the agent will get the documents for stamping. Thereafter, both Tenant & Landlord shall have a copy of the stamped agreement AND agent will handover keys to tenant. It is the responsibility of both tenant & Landlord to fulfilled all T&Cs under the signed Tenancy agreement and communicate between themselves. Thank you. QUESTION: Before engaging agent, agents told that the communication should be through agents for both Landlord and Tenant. Landlord and Tenant not advised to communicate directly. Apparently after tenancy agreement signed, agent replied like this. Is it correct? What is your advice for moving forward as a Landlord or Tenant?
