Hi! Your brother who is living in Sweden is most probably required to sign the physical copy of the document in front of the Malaysian Consul at the Malaysian Consulate, Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm. Your lawyer will likely give the same response. If you need further clarification, please feel free to drop us a line at +6011-33378623  or joylandprop@hotmail.com. I have a somewhat similar case for a Malaysian turned US citizen and living in US. The transfer of property documentations including Statutory Declaration and Power of Attorney was signed in front and witnessed by a Malaysian Consular at the Consular Office in the Embassy of Malaysia by appointment.
Do appoint a lawyer who is familiar with such arrangements.
