When should I find a lawyer if buying a subsale unit?
Hi, I'm a first time homebuyer interested in buying a subsale condominium. There are a lot of legal matters I'm confused about, and I'd feel safer with a lawyer. What I'd like to ask is at what point does the lawyer come in.
Can I get a lawyer to participate from the beginning, that means even before signing the booking form and paying earnest deposit? Can the lawyer investigate such as land search, background search of the owner, outstanding loan amount and even who is in possesion of land title before paying deposit? Or does the lawyer only come in when preparing S&P as well as LA?

Thanks
