Malaysia’s luxury property developer Armani Group is marking a new step in its international expansion with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TBay and Etagi, paving the way for its luxury property developments, including multi-award-winning Armani Hallson KLCC, to be introduced to the Kazakhstan market.
The signing ceremony was held on 6 August 2026 at The St. Regis Astana and was attended by investors, high-net worth individuals, business leaders and representatives from both countries. As part of the collaboration, TBay has been appointed as Armani Group’s consultancy partner for its Kazakhstan market expansion, while Etagi will support the market introduction through its local real estate network. The presence of representatives from Tourism Malaysia and the Embassy of Malaysia further highlighted the strengthening relationship between Malaysia and Kazakhstan across investment, tourism, education and business collaboration.
“Kazakhstan is a market that has shown encouraging interest in Malaysia’s luxury property segment. Over time, we have seen enquiries and interest from Kazakhstan investors and families seeking quality developments with strong long-term value. We believe this is the right time to bring Armani Hallson KLCC closer to this market,” said William Lau, Group Sales & Marketing Director of Armani Group.
Adding to the market expansion perspective, Clinton Ooi, Founder of TBay, said the collaboration reflects a timely opportunity to connect Malaysia’s luxury property offerings with Kazakhstan’s growing pool of international property buyers. The collaboration was facilitated with the support of CSQ International Consulting, a Malaysia-based professional services group with experience in legal and business consulting services.
“Kazakhstan has shown encouraging interest in Malaysia, not only as a travel, healthcare and education destination, but also as a market with growing awareness of Malaysia’s property investment potential. We sincerely thank CSQ for facilitating the connection with Etagi, enabling this collaboration to move forward as part of Armani Group’s Kazakhstan market expansion,” said Ooi.
“We are pleased to be part of this collaboration with Armani Group and TBay. For Kazakhstan buyers, interest in overseas property is no longer only about location, but also confidence, clarity and access to the right opportunities. Through Etagi’s local network and understanding of the Kazakhstan market, we aim to make Malaysian real estate more accessible to qualified buyers and investors who are looking for quality developments with long-term value,” said IIdar Borisovich Khusanov of Etagi.
Armani Hallson KLCC, a multi-award-winning development by Armani Group, will lead the Group’s Kazakhstan market initiative as the first project to be introduced to buyers and investors in the market. The initiative will subsequently be extended progressively to selected developments within Armani Group’s portfolio.
