But first, how is the property market in Selangor doing? According to MIDF Research, Selangor’s real estate industry benefits from the ongoing decline in residential overhang. Citing data from the National Property Information Centre (NAPIC), MIDF Research said that the house price index (HPI) for Selangor is on an uptrend, supported by resilient demand for property in the state.
Selangor has also seen several new launches of townships in recent years, and it continues to grow as a prime location of property buyers. So, whether you’re seeking a luxurious home, a vibrant community, or a family-friendly environment, here are five developments in Selangor completing in 2025.
1. Avela

Avela is a low-density development in the 1,879-acre township of Bandar Rimbayu, with 445 units within its gated and guarded enclave. Bandar Rimbayu sits adjacent to Kota Kemuning and comprises residential, commercial, recreational, and park components.
The township has a gross development value (GDV) of RM11 billion, and residents enjoy easy accessibility via Lebuhraya Shah Alam (KESAS), Lebuhraya Kemuning-Shah Alam (LKSA), Expressway Lingkaran Tengah (ELITE), the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), and West Coast Expressway (WVE).

Phase 17C was launched in September 2023, following the positive take-up of Phase 17A and 17B. Phase 17C comprises 145 garden homes. These 2-storey houses’ built-up sizes are 2,745 sq ft (30’ x 70’), with spacious gardens, electric vehicle-ready, and fully tiled car porch that can accommodate two vehicles.
Avela also features an 8ft garden with multiple access, extra-large kitchens, elder-friendly bedrooms on the ground floor, ensuite bathrooms for all 4 bedrooms, and a separate powder room on the ground floor.
