Dengkil is yet another unassuming small sized town in Sepang, Selangor that packs a punch. A definite partial reason as to why it has developed so rapidly is due to its location. It is sandwiched between hyper city Cyberjaya and Salak Tinggi. Thus, it is close to Putrajaya, Port Klang and most importantly, the KLIA (the Kuala Lumpur International Airport). So much so that is planned to be remodelled as an “Airport City” in the span of four years, starting in 2010.
Amenities in and around the area include the Plaza AIM, Hospital Besar Banting, a Tesco Hypermarket along with local cuisine that is refreshingly balanced, offering a proportionate mix between Chinese and Malay. Recreationally, the area offers the Nilai Spring Golf Resort and academically, it houses the prestigious INTI College Malaysia and the Nilai international College. It is also close by the Telok Panglima Garang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) so those working in its business sector can have a comfortable commute. The main highway to and from Dengkil is KESAS.
