Residents will find easy access to the Federal Highway, with three major exits serving the Subang Jaya municipality. This busy expressway provides convenient links to Shah Alam and out to Port Klang in the west, through to Kuala Lumpur in the northeast.
The Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) and New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) offer equally outstanding access to Kuala Lumpur City Centre, and other destinations throughout the Klang Valley, providing Subang Jaya residents further access to destinations throughout the region.
The North-South Expressway (PLUS Highway), Malaysia’s longest expressway, is also accessible from Subang Jaya. This key route provides direct travel to destinations in the north of Malaysia while avoiding the traffic congestion of downtown Kuala Lumpur, as well as onward travel southwards to connections to cities such as Melaka, Johor Bahru, and onwards to Singapore.

The major Subang Jaya LRT Station can be found in SS16, within close proximity to Subang Parade shopping mall and Aeon BiG Subang hypermarket. The station is served by the Kelana Jaya LRT Line, which connects from Gombak in the north, through KLCC, KL Sentral, Petaling Jaya, and south to Putra Heights.

Subang Jaya LRT Station is also an interchange to the KTM Subang Jaya Komuter Station, providing an easy link to KTM Komuter services throughout the Klang Valley. Both the LRT and KTM line connect through to KL Sentral, providing national rail travel to destinations throughout Malaysia.
Subang Jaya also benefits from access to the Bus Rapid Transport link, a dedicated bus link using an exclusive elevated highway that links over 5 kilometres from the Federal Highway north of Bandar Sunway through to Subang Jaya.
The township is further served by buses run by both Metrobus and Rapid KL, which provide affordable and accessible travel throughout Subang Jaya and onwards to connecting neighbourhoods, Kuala Lumpur, and the wider Klang Valley.
By Air
Subang Jaya is extremely well located for connecting travel to airports within the Klang Valley. Residents can access Subang SkyPark, otherwise known as Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, via the Federal Expressway in just 15 minutes. This conveniently located airport provides connecting flights throughout Malaysia, with a limited number of international destinations in the Southeast Asia region also available.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is also easily accessible from the neighbourhood, located just 30 minutes’ drive to the south of Subang Jaya. This international transport hub provides links to a wide range of national and international destinations. Locals benefit from direct travel along the North-South Expressway, making journeys far simpler than those of residents living in many other popular areas of the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area.
