Setia Sky Ville is ideal for those seeking a contemporary lifestyle.
A hidden freehold sanctuary in Damansara Damai? You guessed right. The 5 acres of slightly hilly landscape that accommodates Bayu Damansara is lined (by forty 3-storey semi-detached houses) like the shape of the alphabet E. The built-up sizes vary between 4,511 and 4,675 square feet, but each one of these units have an equal land size of 40’ x 80’. There is even an extra bungalow unit thrown in for good measure. Immediate neighbouring properties are 3-storey terrace houses, which evoke a quiet and undisturbed atmosphere. Complementing this gated, guarded and perimeter-fenced development is an in-house park and a playground.

THE FLOOR PLANS
The Commonalities of these semi-detached homes are the eco-friendly characteristics. Each house is installed with a rain harvesting tank and solar hot water system. Porcelain floor tiles in the living and dining areas measure 800mm x 800mm.
What’s included in an unfurnished unit are air-conditioning piping, heater points and auto gate.
THE SHOW HOUSE
And looking up to discover that the courtyard has the sky for a roof and ample sunlight during the day. But what happens when it rains? Is there a retractable roof?
Location
This landed project is adjacent to major highways North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), and Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), while the Sungai Buloh toll plaza sits right next door. The LDP toll plaza is also located nearby as LATAR-MRR2 highway is interconnected with Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP). Congestion along LATAR-MRR2 is a daily affair. Since there are quite a number of options to get to Bayu Damansara at Jalan PJU10/13A, your choices are plenty. However, there is currently only one main access road that leads into Damansara Damai, which, in its entirety, is a leasehold neighbourhood located north of Petaling Jaya. Once you get onto this road, drive all the way until you see the first set of traffic lights. Once you reach the traffic lights, make a right turn. Then when you see a Shell petrol station, turn right again. You’ll know you have turn on to the correct lane when a standalone 7-eleven is on your left and Season’s Square (not much happening here) is on your right. Once you are on this road, you have to drive some distance until you see a barricade with a guard post. Go past here and drive further in until you come to an unusually huge roundabout. Do a 12 o’clock turn. The developer of Bayu Damansara is good to a certain extent that they have road signs indicating how to go the development along the way.
Nearby local neighbourhoods include Saujana Damansara and Sutera Damansara. Well-established townships that surround Damansara Damai are Bandar Menjalara, Desa Parkcity, Sri Damansara, Kota Damansara, Damansara Perdana, Sungai Buloh, Sieramas and Valencia.
Under way are 2 proposed alternative roads for Damansara Damai. Proposed alternative road 1, which will be an additional lane specifically for U-turns, is along Jalan Kuala Selangor (LATAR). The second proposed alternative route will connect Jalan PJU 10/7 and Jalan PJU 10/9.
Transportation-wise, Bayu Damansara is smack right in the middle of MRT Line 1 and the proposed MRT Line 2. The nearest stations for MRT Line 1 & Sungai Buloh – Serdang – Putrajaya MRT Line 2 (slated for completion by 2021) are Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara, The Curve, 1Utama, Damansara Damai and Sri Damansara.

Summary
Inspired by the designs of landed properties in Bangsar, Bayu Damansara is well-suited for large families who would like to stay together under one roof. Do note that the location is well-connected via major highways and accessible to future MRT Line 1 and Line 2 and KTM systems. Damansara Damai is located very near to Kepong and Desa Parkcity, two mature townships with accessibility to food, amenities such as banking. Probably the only inconvenience is having to pay the tolls. But if you can live with that, then Bayu Damansara can be a good place to nurture 3 generations of loved ones, just the time frame to generate and reap long-term capital appreciation from this investment.
