Location

Hening Aerial View

Hening is a very strategically located development, especially for those who work in the southern region of the Klang Valley. Not only is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) located a stone’s throw away, it is also close to Serdang which is only 20 minutes away and about 25 minutes from Seri Kembangan. Expatriates who work in Cyberjaya will also love staying at Hening for its convenient location that is only 15 minutes away. Aside from those who live in the area, Hening will also be a popular residence for frequent travellers, as the Kuala Lumpur International Airport is only 30 minutes away.

Located in a well planned district, residents of Hening will find that they are close to almost all of the major highways in the Klang Valley. Among some of the most heavily travelled are the North-South Highway, the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), Kajang Dispersal Link (SILK), Maju Expressway (MEX) and Damansara-Puchong Highway. And with these highways, getting to the other major suburbs such as Petaling Jaya and Subang is convenient.

For those who prefer not to drive, public transportation to the city and the airport is convenient with the KLIA Transit station nearby. With the express train, commuters will be able to get to either KLIA or KL Sentral in only 18 minutes.

Travelling a distance is however quite unnecessary for future residents of the Hening, as Putrajaya is a self-sufficient city. It is famous for its nature interspersed with development, providing a plethora of amenities amidst healthy living.

Hening Siteplan

Within Putrajaya itself are a number of private and international schools, and next door in Cyberjaya are world renowned universities such as the LimKokWing University of Creative Technology and the University College of Medical Sciences.

Popular weekend spots in Putrajaya close to the Hening includes the Alamanda Shopping Centre, and the IOI City Mall which has its own ice rink. Other than that, families that prefer to spend their time outdoors will be wooed by the Putrajaya Botanical Gardens and Putrajaya Marina. There are also many sports clubs in town, from the Dragon Boat Teams to the Triathlon Tri-Amateur Club and the Putrajaya Cycling Club. Another one of Hening’s main selling points may be its view towards the Putrajaya Lake, which is a short walk away.

Analysis

Landed developments are increasingly rare in the city, even in Putrajaya. A landed property that offers the abundance of facilities and nature while still being reasonably priced is even rarer. Below is the Hening compared against another new development in Putrajaya, albeit a high rise.

Summary

Hening LIving and Dining Area

The Hening is a development that is targeted more towards the family home buyer, and perhaps even multigenerational families. Its prices are considered to be quite reasonable for what is being offered, hence its instant popularity when it was launched.
