It is a freehold development, which there will be two blocks of towers, each standing 45 storeys tall and housing a total of 938 units. The exact coordinates of this project is 5.336438, 100.272439, on the southern part of Penang Island.
Imperial Grande is a family-centric development, and its host of facilities reflect them by catering to all ages. For the children there is a kids cycling corner, and a kids play room. The really fun one for the toddlers are however the water slide deck, a wading pool and a kids pool. For the adults, they will get to enjoy a 50-metre swimming pool, an island cabana, outdoor gym, and barbecue corner. Imperial Grande is a development that is very well located and desirable for its prime location on the southern part of the Penang Island. It is located only 10 minutes to the Penang International Airport, and 10 minutes to the popular Queensbay Mall under clear traffic conditions.
The SPICE Arena is less than a kilometre away, and the Bukit Jambul Complex 2 kilometres. Only slightly further away is Sunshine Square at 3.2 kilometres. For those who are working in the FIZ Industrial Area, they will be pleased to know that the area is only 4.7 kilometres away.
Accessibility to Imperial Grande is also great with the many trunk roads that surround the development, namely Jalan Paya Terubong, Persiaran Relau, Japan Dato Ismail Hashim, and Jalan Tun Dr. Awang. Of these roads the former two connect to Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah as well as the main highway of Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu.

As the prices of developments at Imperial Grande are on the higher side, there has naturally been comments in the market regarding its price point as well as its density. It is the opinion of property buyers in the area that the market is facing an oversupply in Penang, and another new development with a price point this high will not help it. Other comments include the ingress and egress routes during peak hours which they worry may become more congested than it already is.
