Wangsa Maju’s view is now overwhelmed with crane after crane lifting up block of concretes along its skyline. The current downside of living in this area is the fact that it is packed with constructions. This could be a major hiccup for current residents as big construction vehicles commute here heavily with loads of cement and sand. There are several high-rise condominiums rising around the area. Some of the existing condominiums are even extending their phases due to an outpour of responses from buyers. Infiniti 3, Irama Wangsa, Wangsa 9, Riana Green East, Seasons Gardens Residences and a couple more will be soaring over Wangsa Maju soon.

The construction of Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway project or formerly known as DUKE 3 will be taking off soon along the area. The suggested DUKE 3 alignment measures at 35 km, aims to transverse north to south of Kuala Lumpur along the routes of Wangsa Maju, Setiawangsa, Ampang and the Tun Razak Exchange.

This alignment also hopes to connect roads with public rail transportations such as KTM Komuter, MRT and LRT lines. Some resident associations have voiced their concerns in regards  to the extension, which comprise those from Seri Maya. These concerns include the construction’s impact towards the environment and quality of life among the existing residential properties located along the proposed alignment.
