Meridin Bayvue is very centrally located on the southern tip of Malaysia, in Masai. It is merely 20 minutes from the Johor Bahru Checkpoint into Singapore, or a mere 15 kilometres via the JB East Coast Highway. Meridin Bayvue is located in a matured neighbourhood, with lifestyle amenities, hypermarkets, medical services, and institutions of education close to home.

There are two hypermarkets close to home, in the form of a Tesco in Plentong and another Tesco in Seri Alam. For variety, there is also an AEON shopping mall in Permas Jaya. The KSL City Mall is a mere 14 kilometres away via the JB East Coast Highway as well, and the upcoming Paradigm Mall is quite a bit further at about 25 kilometres away.

There are a few tourist attractions in Johor Bahru, a distance away from Meridin Bayvue. Residents however need not travel so far for retail therapy, as they will be able to find a good number of lifestyle retail shops on the ground floor of their development at Bayvue Avenue.

The advantage of staying at Meridin Bayvue is its amazing location just 20 minutes away from the Johor checkpoint. This makes the development and ideal choice as a property investment, due to its proximity to Singapore. Also, its location in a matured neighbourhood plays a big role in the convenience of living in this development.

 

Cons

While this is a great development, a point of concern is the presumed overdevelopment in Johor Bahru. Many potential property buyers have mentioned online that driving through the new townships of Johor Bahru is akin to driving through a ghost town of new housing developments.
