Project Details

Earmarked as a Landmark HOPSCA development in Johor Bahru CBD, it stands for H [Hotel] O [Office] P [Parks] S [Shopping]C [Clubhouse] A [Apartment], and embodies a marina lifestyle concept.

Phases 2 to 5 of R&F Princess Cove will be developed in stages over a ten-year period. This will consist of, in no particular order, a 5-star hotel, a Grade A office tower, Princess Quay Shoplex, just to name a few. An R&F Properties sales representative named Jim says that the company is currently negotiating with hotels in the likes of Hard Rock and Marco Polo Hong Kong to determine who would eventually join in the development. The Grade A office tower will be fully-equipped with 5-star hotel-inspired facilities.

Other highlights of the development:

  • An exclusive waterfront food and beverage outlets overlooking Singapore called Fisherman Wharf is in the pipeline.
  • A shaded sky bridge (stretching 650 to 700 metres long) starts from the CIQ Complex to Princess Cove at the 2nd floor level of the shopping mall (5 minutes walking distance)
  • 24-hour security patrol rounding the areas in the development

Designated on a Zone A locale in Iskandar Malaysia, R&F Princess Cove is nestled 15 kilometres away from the downtown core of Johor Bahru. You won’t be able to miss this particular development due to the mile long red-coloured under-construction banners. On the opposite site of the development is the CIQ (which stands for Customs, Immigration and Quarantine) Complex and City Square. To locate exactly where R&F Princess Cove is, all you have to do is to locate 2 well-known public landmarks in Johor Bahru’s central business district (CBD) – the Grand Blue Wave Hotel, which stands 350 metres away from the development, or the CIQ  Complex and adjacent City Square, which is within reach via a 5-minute walk.

Also dotted along the transit route of the proposed high speed railway (HSR) between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, it is safe to say that R&F Princess Cove is strategically located at the right spot, at the centre of all that’s happening.

Transportation-wise, this property is a stone’s throw away too. There is the JB Sentral Bus Terminal, which, in turn, is located next to the KTM JB Sentral Railway Station. This bus terminal is also one of 2 (the other being Larkin Bus Terminal) bus terminals that is served by Singapore public bus operators. Busses from the JB Sentral Bus Terminal cover the Johor Bahru City Centre area.

What is expected in 2020 is a newly-constructed Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) interchange station at Bukit Chagar that links Johor Bahru with the Woodlands MRT in Singapore. This station will stand at the opposite side of the CIQ Complex.
